Located in the Palmer Hay Flats State Game Refuge, Reflections Lake trail is a sweet little 1- mile stroll around, you guessed it… Reflections Lake 🙂 Nicely wooded, well-maintained path and super family-friendly. The far side of the trail offers a 35 foot viewing tower that gives you a nice perspective of the landscape and is the perfect place to see geese, ducks, cranes, birds and even moose. It is open year round and is really a little gem for a quick commune with nature, or pack a lunch and make it a more leisurely visit. There is a covered pavilion, bathroom facilities, and you can even bring your kayak or canoe for a nice paddle in the warmer months. Located at mile 30.5 of the Glenn Highway. Look for the Knik River Access/Reflections Lake exit. Wheelchair accessible and pets are welcome on a leash.
